Abstract

We are very proud to launch the first issue of Kinephanos, an online, bilingual, interdisciplinary, and academic journal studying issues of film and popular media. The journal's main interests are about film and television series, video games, digital technologies, and fan culture. The different theoretical perspectives favor film studies, theories of communication, humanities, and cultural and media
studies.
